Famous Breakfast Places in London for Tourists

You can get breakfast anywhere, but there are breakfast places in London that are institution. Also, some breakfast places that I like. So here is the list.

Regency Cafe

Regency Cafe is where you can find English breakfast.

Opened in 1946, it is one of the oldest and classic looking cafe.

Because of its vibe, many movies like Rocketman to Pride have been filmed.

You order the Set 1

  • Basics : Eggs, Bacon and Sausage
  • Option 1 : Beans or Tomatos
  • Option 2 : Plain Bread or Toasted bread
  • Option 3 : Tea or coffee

This will get you the typical English breakfast with eggs, bacon and sausage with baked beans. If you want to be real, you can also get black pudding as an extra.

But most people don’t like it, so it is upto you.

They also have some specials like Benedict, but in my opinion, if you want to get Benedict, I think Ozone cafe is much better.

Of course, you DON’T have to go to Regency cafe. You can just go to a next door cafe and have it. You can find a breakfast place on almost every corner in London.

If you wanted other than Regency Cafe, there are some others like :

You can check the locations clicking the hyperlinks.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is one of the most popular breakfast place in London. It is a franchise, so you can easily find it near your accommodation.

It is a mix of American breakfast and English breakfast.

Not many places have iced coffee in the winter in Europe, but Breakfast Club does!

It has a modern vibe, so if you are looking for instagrammable type of place, this is the place

Duck and Waffle

Duck and Waffle is famous for their 24 hour opening time.

It is on the 40th floor the view is spectacular. If you are an early bird, you can easily go and see the sun rise.

I went on a beautiful day and it felt like you could see Ireland lol.

But the food is just ok. Expensive and just small portion.

If you are more into Asian food for breakfast, I recommend Shangri-la hotel.

Ting restaurant is on 35th floor and the view is spectacular as well. You can also read more about it on my related blog post.

Riding House Cafe

If you want modern vibe with great food overall, Riding House Cafe is great.

Apparently the pancakes are the best, but I prefer eggs.

Bar Bruno

This is also a cafe like Regency cafe, but I wanted to put it up on my list separately.

It is one of my go to place when I am in hungover.

I like to eat those cheap pasta, and Bar Bruno does the best. They are also famous for their English breakfast, but their meatball pasta is something.

It is cheap, taste cheap but cannot forget about it.
