Myung Ga London
Myung Ga is another Korean restaurant is the heart of Carnaby street. What pops out compared to other restaurants is that it is not very trendy.
You know, in an expensive area with hip people you would imagine a trendy restaurants. But it is the opposite.
The interior is very basic and the sign is simple as it can be.
But sometimes you wonder how good the food is that they don’t care about the interior.

Myunga Menu
Myung Ga London has been around the block like Arirang restaurant in Soho. Like Arirang, the menu is pretty extensive from BBQ to Korean hot pots to Korean-Chinese dishes.
When you go to restaurants in Korea, it will always be specialised restaurants. It will not have an extensive menu like Myung Ga (unless you go to a diner like restaurant).
So naturally I was a bit hesitant about going to Myung Ga, because it is already hard to master one dish how on earth can they make all those Myunga menu properly.
That is why I think where Arirang fails. Too many dishes and it ends of all the dishes becoming mediocre.
But surprisingly most of the dishes I ordered was pretty good.
The BBQ was excellent with great quality. The Korean hot pot was delicious and the a la carte menu was good.
My friends say this is where they used to go in college not only it is close to Soho but cause it had many choices.
Especially with friends with a diverse group who can have halal meat to vegans, Myung Ga London has it all.
