Cay Tre Menu Has a Dish That Made People Regulars | Soho / Shoreditch

There is a dish on Cay Tre menu that made me fall in love.

Hear me out.

2009 June 5th, on my birthday I visited London for the first time. I went all out partying and I was dying of puking the next day and I needed something to cure my hangover.

I was staying at the Holiday Inn on City Road and not far from Cay Tre Shoreditch (Hoxton).

I remember the combo pho at Cay Tre saving my life.

But why is Cay Tre special other than saving my life?

Cay Tre Soho / Shoreditch

Cay Tre has two franchise. One is Soho and Shoreditch.

The food in general is good. I think it is catered toward general public that it is good for non-Asians, but is not watered down for Asians.

The reason I love Cay Tre is cause of their combo pho. The combo Pho has steak, brisket, fatty flank, beef meatball, tendon and tripe. It is the best.

Not only me, but all my guy friends absolutely love it.

The only problem is that it is £18. Of course the portion is big, but you can get the same Pho at Song Que Cafe for just £12.

So what do we do? If you are big eater, I would recommend going to Cay Tre and if you are not go to Song Que Cafe.

There is another dish that Cay Tre is famous for which is Ca Kho To. It is a claypot Mekong Catfish.

It is a traditional dish and it is almost the same as the time I had it in Mekong River.
