When I used to live in Miami, the only good Asian restaurant was either K.Ramen.Burger or Shilla Korean BBQ. Even though Chalan on the Beach Miami is a Peruvian restaurant, it somehow hit me differently.

The food at Chalan on the Beach tasted like the food I used to grow up eating. So let’s review why it is so great.
Location
Chalan on the Beach is conveniently located in South Beach not so far from Lincoln Road.
If your hotel is on Collins ave in between 14th – 18th st, you can easily walk there.
The exact address is: 1580 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139, United States
Opening Time
The best part about Chalan on the Beach Miami is that it opens late.

So when you are drunk on Wet Willie’s slushies, you can stop by here for a hangover cure. Yes, It is that type of food!
Then let’s talk about the food!
Chalan on the Beach Menu
This restaurant has an extensive menu, and almost everything is awesome.
Every single friend who visited Miami, I took them to Chalan on the Beach.
They were always surprised by the exterior and interior how basic it was, but then blown away by the food.
The most popular menu is:
- Ceviche Mixto : $17.95
- Octopus Ceviche : $18.95
- Deep Fried Fish Chunks : $15.95
- Lomo Saltado : $16.95
- Aji de Gallina : $13.95
- Basil Spaghetti : $13.95
- Peruvian Fried Rice: $14.95
- Sautéed Spaghetti with Seafood : $18.95
- Pescado con Mariscos : $19.95
- Cau Cau de Mariscos : $18.95
I am sure there are all good, but these were the menu my friends and I ordered and was absolutely gorgeous.
When I go, I almost always order an appetiser size of deep fried fish chunks (you can ask for the appetiser size) and the Sautéed Spaghetti.
The reason I always went to Chalan on the Beach was cause of the Sautéed Spaghetti with Seafood.
It reminded me of stir fried Jjampong in Korea. And when I felt like good Korean(?), I went to Chalan on the Beach.
I know it sounds weird, but that is what I did.
So to my Asian fellows (OR ANYBODY!) who are visiting Miami and craving some good Asian food, try Chalan on the Beach.
