So, we were staying at Citizen M in London for a day, but decided to extend one more day in London. However, Citizen M was fully booked and we weren’t able to extend another day there, so we decided to try out Dean Street Townhouse because they were offering 200 pounds room (Tiny Room: it is called Tiny Room, luckily was upgraded to medium room) which was basically the same price as the Citizen M.

LOCATION
Dean street townhouse is in the heart of Soho London. It is a member of the famous Soho House Group of Hotels and Clubs. I always wanted to stay in one of the Soho House hotels. The reason?! If you are a Sex and the City generation, you will probably remember the Samantha and her Soho House incident. To refresh your memory, check out the clip below lol.
Soho House hotels are small boutique hotels offering its members  great discounted rooms, so often it is very difficult if not impossible to get a room. However, in London in February we struck lucky and got an amazing room in the Dean Street Townhouse in Soho.
PRICE
Dean St. Townhouse costs on average $150 – $500 a night depending on the season. I was doing some research and found a tiny room for $220. I immediately booked it even realizing how small “tiny” could be. We were pretty lucky to get an upgrade from “tiny” to “medium”, but the tiny and small rooms seem to be really small. So, if you are planning on spending a lot of time in the room, tiny and small would not be a good idea.Â
LOBBYÂ
You enter the townhouse through an unassuming door into a world of antiques, old fashioned charm. It feels like your grandfather’s library room. Dim light, oak wood shelves and mid-century furniture.
You are immediately greeted and relaxed by the friendly receptionist who offers you cold water with a relaxing easy check in process. Consistent with the theme, you get a heavy antique key for the room (You should leave the key with the receptionist when you go out cause it can be easily lost).Â
Dean St. Townhouse Hotel Gives You an Intimate and Comforting Experience in a Busy Soho Neighborhood
The great thing about the lobby is that you have a separate lounging area. It is private and if you end up getting the “tiny” room, this would be a great place to chill.Â
Here is a video tour of the medium room.
ROOMS
The townhouse is small with only 39 rooms, some of which are described as tiny rooms and like the name, TINY. If you are lucky like me, you will often get an upgrade upon availability. Quality and service make this a hotel to stay in if you can get a medium room.
We stayed in a medium room with a four poster bed with views across the Main Street. The room was honestly amazing as soon as you walk in the standard and quality stand out. You have everything you need in the room – I mean everything – I can’t list it but if you need it it’s in the room.
The room had a roll top bath that was amazing and the cowshed products are free to use as much as possible so a hot foam bath after pounding the streets of London is perfect.
The four poster bed was very comfortable with quality bedding and pillows.
The coffee and tea were improved by the fresh milk and the English bone china cups provided.
Every drink  imaginable is in the room from whiskey ,gin , rum all to be consumed in very good crystal glasses!!! So much so I wish I could have taken them home
The best part of the bathroom is the toiletry kit. When you travel a lot, you always need a traveler size toiletries. The problem with me was I lost my toiletry bag and it was just perfect that they had everything I needed in the bathroom!Â
You can also check the video tour of the medium room.
RESTAURANT
I only went for breakfast and it definitely was a fun local-feeling experience. It is a little bit pricey, and the food is mediocre by the best. But the food is very instagramable if you are into that kinda thang. If you can sit outside, you should sit outside. And if you can’t I would probably just go to a deli next door 🙂
I haven’t had lunch or dinner, so please let us know on the comment section what you think of the restaurant.

NEIGHBORHOOD
The hotel is on Dean St in Soho, London. It is in the heart of Soho. If you are a club/ bar going drinker, it is the perfect place to stay. If you are a rainbow-shooting-club-going-queen, THIS IS THE PLACE (If you are looking for an article, check out Pink London Blog; Personally my favorite is G-A-Y Bar, The Yard, Admiral Duncan and Ku Soho). Â If you are also a movie and theater goer, it is a perfect place to stay. At last, if you are a shopper, it is the place to stay. It is only few blocks to Leister Square, Covent Garden and Picadelly Circus.Â
