Eataly London’s Ultimate Guide to Restaurants & Shops

Eataly London just opened with a 42,000 sq ft Godzilla size supermarket. It is so big you need a map to navigate (Map at the end of my blog post).

But don’t worry. I went the opening day and let me give you the ultimate guide to the restaurants and shops inside the beautiful Eataly London.

You can check my AWESOME Tiktok video as well to have a glimpse of Eataly.

Ground Floor at Eataly London

As you enter, first thing you will see is the Caffe Bar with Illy coffee and gelato

I tried their Illy cold brew coffee and I can tell you, it is no Starbucks. Even without sugar you can taste the sweetness. The only problem was the size was super small.

On the right side of the Caffe bar, you will see prepared Italian meals like sandwiches.

Because it is inside a busy financial district, the ground floor is focused on quick bites and sweets for workers in the neighbourhood.

Now you La Via Del Dolce where you can find Italian sweets, pastries and cannolis.

If you have a sweet tooth, this will be heaven for you.

The ground floor is focused on take outs and sweets.

With more than 5,000 light bulbs with sweets, it is hard to resist not to buy anything. Even if you don’t like chocolates.

There will also be a cannoli bar which my friend and I are most excited about (we used to go in New York Eataly for the cannolis).

After La Via Del Dolce, you enter the Bar Centrale fresh pasta, Pizza, breads, deli and a small wine bar.

Now let’s go up to the first floor.

First Floor

First floor is focused on groceries.

You will first see the fresh food counters with fresh fruits / vegetable, cured mets and cheese, butcher and a fishmonger.

I don’t think I ever seen so many cured meat and cheese if I had to buy it, I would be overwhelmed.

They also make fresh mozzarella.

Then of course you will end up in Pasta section. It was so many I suddenly had an urge wanting to study all types of pasta.

Of course you can find Olive oils, sauces, Jam and everything Italian. Basically you will find everything you need for daily cooking here.

There is also a wine cellar. This is everything I saw at Eataly London.

Even writing it on a blog post seems overwhelming but I think it would be a great trip to see what’s up especially when we can’t travel.

There are also going to open several restaurants over time, but because of the pandemic there is only one open.

And I will be visiting the restaurant this Friday and will let you know what I think.
