My friends tell me the best time during the trip in London is shopping at duty free at Heathrow airport. It is the cheapest place to buy souvenirs and gifts for your friends and family. So today, I will show all the shopping list of the things that you can buy at duty free. Also I will show you how to save time and money.

How to save TIME at Heathrow Airport Duty Free

There are so many things to buy at Heathrow airport duty free. It is as big as a department store with so many choices. But it is unrealistic to spend hours shopping at the airport. So for that reason, they have an online shopping mall.

You can just order and reserve a product you want and pick up later. All you need to do is order what you want here and the go to the stores at Heathrow airport duty free and the pick up and pay. Simple as that!

How to Get a DISCOUNT at Duty Free

There are several ways to get a discount at Heathrow airport duty free. First is to spend 300 pounds and get a 20% discount coupon for the next purchase. I guess this is not for everyone as this needs to be used for a second visit to London. Also, if you are an Asian or Chinese, please read this article. Long story short, threshold to get 20% discount coupon has been different by race, but now fixed.

John Lewis

John Lewis is a semi-luxury department store in England, and you can find it in duty free. To be honest, there wasn’t much choice that screams England, but it is always good to eye shop.

Duty Free

Duty Free as you know sell cosmetic, liquor, cigarettes and souvenirs.

Hamleys

Hamleys is where you can buy toys and children’s book. You can also buy it in London, but it is a lot cheaper at the duty free. I was going to buy two children’s book at the main store which was 35 pounds, but here at duty free I only paid 30 pounds.

Smythson

This is one of my favorite English brand. It is not like I write a lot on notes, but I love carrying it around. This brand just knows how to make notebooks with style. I think it’s better than moleskin

Mulberry and Burberry

As I was writing the brand names, I realized both brands end with “berry.” Anyways it is both English brands and they have it at the airport. Although there is not many choice, you can buy some basic stuffs. You can always check it online to see what they have.
