You can read more about the reason here why they only open on certain month of the year.

Stone Crab

But there are few different sizes which are Jumbo, Large, Select, Medium

We ordered few Mediums and few Jumbos as they ran out of Large.

Medium Stone Crab was good, but compared to Jumbo it wasn’t

Jumbo was the tastiest and if you can, you should and must order JUMBO.

The size of the Jumbo was like twice as Medium

Stone Crab Legs

I know Joe’s Stone Crab is known for the stone crabs but when I had their King Crab Legs, I was blown.

Among Joe’s Stone Crab Miami menu, Stone Crab was the best!

It was so juicy and fresh, I could have actually ordered one more King Crab.

The only problem was that it was so expensive.

Fillers

Of course, with just crabs, it is not enough. I think it is best to just order many starters / Potatoes and vegetables

Left was “I forgot” and the right was coconut shrimp

The Mussels were just ok

I know ordering fried chicken and steak can be tempting, but if you are going to order steak, you should go to a steak house.

And I could recommend you some of the best steakhouse in Miami.

Joe’s Stone Crab Bar

What I really liked about Joe’s Stone Crab bar had this old restaurant vibe that has been around forever.

I mean actually it is an old restaurant that opened in 1913.

It feels very traditional and classy. So while we could have arrived on time, we went thirty minutes early and went to the bar and drank like classy (not-so lol) people.

Overall, it wasn’t a cheap experience but definitely you should try at least once if you are going to Miami.
