When I first saw Kooples in 2015, I immediately fell in love with the brand. I have a smaller frame than regular Americans. I was naver able to buy at GAP because the smallest size was still big on me. But when I tried Kooples for the first time, I realized how it perfectly fits me. It comes smaller than other brands, so I had no problem wearing them without looking like I just borrowed a shirt from my dad.
Kooples Comes with Smaller Frame and They Didn’t Forget about Short People Like Me
I started to buy a lot of shirts from there, because it fitted well on me. It just was convenient for me. But the problem was that I couldn’t really put it in tumble dry cause it kept on shrinking. It was a problem for me cause I was so lazy. And then I started traveling and it was almost impossible to hang dry my clothe. So I stopped wearing it and buying it. I had to be practical, so I just started just buying James Perse and Olebar Brown where it didn’t shrink (You can read about what I think of Olebar Brown here).
Kooples Can Be Pricey But They Also Do a Lot of Sales
But recently I went on a family trip to Paris, and went to an outlet where Kooples is originally from. I saw Kooples and went in and realized how good it was. Actually I remembered it actually existed. I have been traveling for so long, I have fashion brands were the last thing I was thinking about. AND I WAS SURPRISED HOW CHEAP IT WAS. Literally a shirt was 20 dollars where as I would have to pay $150 in the U.S. OK… It was in the outlet. But still!!
I love Kooples’ shirts cause they use the soft fabric that I love, Viscose. The fabric just lets you breathe instead of sweating like crazy. Viscose shirts were so good to me fo someone like me who suffers from acne. You can read about why I love it so much right here.
I love Kooples’ shirts cause it has the Hawaiian feeling to it (My favorite Hawaiian shirt brand is Double Rainbouu and you can read about them here). Since I went to Hawaii, I really miss the beaches there. Since then I constantly bought Hawaiian shirts. So I could feel close to Hawaii.
