There are few ways to get from Miami Airport to South Beach – Uber / Miami Airport Flyer Bus. I know everybody has a different budget and different plans, so let me explain how to use each transportation.

Distance from Miami airport to south beach is 9 miles.
So it is a pretty close airport to South beach. It would only take about 20 minutes to no more than 30 minutes.
I know it sounds unreal if you are coming from JFK.
Uber from Miami Airport to South Beach
Taxi will cost you $35 (flat rate), but if you get an Uber or LYFT, you can pay about $20.
So I highly recommend you download the Uber APP or LYFT APP.
Miami Beach Airport Flyer Bus #150
Probably the cheapest way from miami airport to south beach is to get the Miami Beach airport flyer.
Miami Beach Airport Flyer only costs $2.65, with a luggage storage, nice seatings and air conditioning.
It is also very easy to Get to.
First when you get off the plane, follow the pink sign with an arrow (Picture Below) that says Metrorail Station
You will have to take an elevator to 3rd floor, then take the tram (MIA Mover) and get off at Metrorail station.
Get to the bus plaza and buy your ticket at the vending machine. The bus driver won’t take cash unless you have the exact change.
Then off you go. It stops at almost all of Collins Ave where major hotels are and Lincoln Road.
