Must Order Dishes on Roti King Menu, The Malaysian Restaurant Euston

n Roti King is not the King of Roti. It is the king of Laksa. Roti King menu is simple but has a wide variety, and let’s get into what you HAVE to order. Let’s get into it!

Roti King Location

Roti King is right next to Euston station, so if you are coming back from anywhere, this is a must restaurant to spot by.

Adress : 40 Doric Way, Somers Town, London NW1 1LH

I would say when you are coming back because the line can be insane where you have to wait an hour. So, unless you go early it is better to go there after you arrive at Euston station.

Also you need to know their opening time as they have lunch breaks and closed dates. Opening times are,

  • Tue : 17:00 – 21:30
  • Wed – Thu : 12:00 – 15:00, 17:00 – 21:30
  • Fri – Sun : 12:00 – 21:30
  • Mon: Closed

I know it is complicated lol. Let’s get into what we should order.

Roti King Menu

Menu is not that extensive, but each dishes have a variation with chicken, beef, vegetable or lamb.

I asked the lady and these are the most popular Roti King menu.

  • Roti Canai with Dhal Kari :£6
  • Roti Cheese : £4
  • Murtabak (roti filled with lamb or chicken, onion & egg) : £6.50
  • Beef Murtabak (with beef) : £7.50
  • Lasi Lemak Ayam Goreng : £8.50
  • Nasi Goreng : £8
  • Beef Rendang : £8.50
  • Kari Laksa : £8.99

Like the name of the restaurant, they are famous for their roti.

It is all homemade, so it not only feels fresh but tastes fresh.

We had the Roti Canai with Dhal Kari, but apparently the most popular one is the Roti Canai with Mutton Kari (£7.50)

The must order is the Kari Laksa.

I have been to several laksa joints and Roti King was one of the best I had in London.

They used to have Tom Yum Soup, but it wasn’t the best. I have had better Tom Yum Soup.

You should stick with their best Laksa and Roti.
