5 Minute Drive to City Center but Still a Convenient Location
I headed right to Liverpool from Paddington Station, and booked Titanic Hotel which is probably 5 minutes from City Center. I actually thought it was in the City Center but I guess not! My bad! But I was more than happy that I made the mistake, cause it is definitely one of the most beautiful hotel in Liverpool. You can easily order an uber and would cost 5-6 pounds a ride the center. If you don’t like taking cabs all the time, I would highly recommend Hard Days Night Hotel a.ka. the Beatles hotel.

I was quite surprised how grandiose the hotel was compared to the Beatles Hotel, Indigo Hotel (in Liverpool) or even other cities’ hotel. It was converted from a warehouse and it still conserves the feeling of a warehouse but also brings comfort to your stay.
Alternative Choices: Liverpool Hotels that You Have to Shantay You Stay
The lounge is spacious, high ceiling and quiet where you can relax and enjoy the river view. At night, musicians come and play guitar and sing. Titanic Hotel has the tradition of a typical Liverpool values of Scouse sense of humor, good live music and a history around ship building.
Superior Dockside Room Is Spacious with Marvelous Ceiling
We got the superior dockside room where the ceiling is high with bricks. It is called Titanic Hotel, so there are some Titanic related pictures on the wall, But it feels more like a barn or a cottage with bricks and woods. I am not sure why they went for Titanic but maybe cause it is Liverpool after all?! Still it is absolutely stunning and spacious.
When you go to hotels or Airbnb, the bathrooms and beds are the most important criteria for me. The bathroom was very big with two sinks, stand alone bathtub and a rainfall shower. YAS, I could have even slept on the bathroom floor. It was that big. The bed was a king size and also very comfy.
Slow Service Is the Only Down Fall of the Titanic Hotel
I could not help but check it out. I love massages. When i’m in NY, I go to China town and get a foot massage. That is my getaway resort from the city kind of thing. This is what happens every time I go to a spa and use a hammam type of spa lounge.
- Lay down for 5 minutes and gets bored
- go to the steam for 17 seconds and gets too hot
- Use the water massage machines for an hour
And of course, constantly falling asleep. Well, Titanic Hotel has a Spa and a lounge where you can, duh lounge. It is in the basement, and it has the same feeling with the hotel with the bricks and industrial interior design. You are greeted by nice Liverpool ladies. I don’t know what it is but the accent kills me 
Try the Facial/Massage and Use the Free Spa Lounge at Maya Blue Spa
You will have to pay 25 pounds to use the spa lounge for two hours so please book in advance as they only let 15 people at a time. We were at the hotel on the weekend and there was a weeding going on, so spa was really busy. Facial/Massage was fully booked, and it was hard to just book the spa lounge.
If you haven’t been yet, This what you need to know and this is what I think about the Maya Blue Spa.
- Bring your swimswear to change (You don’t wanna walk around hanging your anaconda
in front of reserved English ladies) - Book a facial/Massage rather than just a spa lounge as you can use the lounge for free before the treatment
- They give you Himalayan Salt to use it on your feet huuurrraaaaayyyy

- Spa lounge is only worth if you do a massage or facial – You have to pay 25 pounds to use the just pool/lounge for two hours (Book a facial/massage where you can get a facial and use the pool)
