How do you get View from the Shard tickets cheaper than the official website or even for free.

The Shard
The Shard is the highest building in London.
You can actually see it anywhere you go.
Inside the Shard, there is a luxury hotel called Shngri-la which has expensive restaurants and bar.
How to Enter the Shard
View from the Shard
View from the Shard is one of the best place to see the whole view of London as it is 360 degrees on top of 72nd floor.
The good thing about View from the Shard is that you can walk around freely and see London.
It is so high up, it feels like you can see the ocean lol.
View from the Shard Ticket Price
The ticket is :
- 32 pounds
- If you want to drink champaign, you can add 16 pounds which is 48 pounds.
There is a bar at the top, and you can also just order from here. View from the Shard drinks prices were also around 16 pounds (excluding tip).
The Shard Gong
Of course, you can see the view from 72nd floor with 360 degrees, but for me, it felt a bit empty and expensive for what I get.
So I found a hack.
You can still go up to 52nd floor bar Gong.
For me, the view was almost the same as 72nd floor.
Cocktails / champaign was about 18 pounds.
There is a minimum charge of 30 pounds, but if you are planning to have a glass of champaign, I think this is a better deal.
Opening time is :
- Mon – Sat : 12:00PM – 01:00AM
- Sun : 12:00PM – 12:00AM
Ting Restaurant
There is even a cheaper way to see the view. It is to go to Ting restaurant.
You can have breakfast here and the sunrise was absolutely jaw-dropping experience (probably can only experience during winter cause the sunrise happens late at about 8 AM).
Buffet was 42 pounds, and to be honest, the food was just mediocre for a five star hotel.
But you can also order congee for just 11 pounds.
There wasn’t minimum spent when I went, but if this blog blows up and the restaurant becomes popular (wishful thinking lol), I would assume they might start having minimum spent.

If You Want to Go to the View from the Shard, How Do You Do It?
If you want to go to the View from the Shard for free, London Pass is the best option.
You can go to 80 different tourist attraction with a set price.
I used London Pass in many different cities, and London one is the best to save money.
How to Get to London Shard
If you are going from Tower Bridge, you can just follow the map below.
If you walk down South Bank, you will see Hay’s Gallery. You walk down the gallery, you will see Tooley St.
Then you turn right and walk down, you will see an entrance like this below picture.
Then just follow the sign “The Shard.”
You will the entrance for The Shard.
How to Book The View from the Shard Cheaper
You can buy it on the official site for 32 pounds.
But if you don’t need to buy it with official website, you can buy it on Klook or Get Your Guide.
It is 28 pounds and 4 pounds cheaper.
