Why I Wasn’t(?) Impressed | Asiana Airlines A350 Business Class Review

You need to click on subtitle to get English. I hope this helps as well as my blog.

I usually flew Korean Air, but this time Asiana airline flight was much cheaper from Heathrow airport to Incheon. Also Asiana airline is pushing their new plane A350. I couldn’t resist and ended up buying the business class Smartium. I don’t think I was going to be this impressed, but I was. And I had to write something about it. So let’s talk!

AIRBUS A350

Airbus A350 was made to compete with Boeing 787. It is not as sexy as A380 in my opinion but they have minimized the sound of the engine and is more eco friendly.

Asiana Airlines Airbus A350 Business Smartium

I think Asiana Airline is really proud of their A350 because they even built a separate website for it. They are advertising that even their economy seats are big enough to feel comfortable, but I cannot confirm or deny as I haven’t been on it 🙂 In a nutshell, the business class Smartium really is very well thought out for the passenger and let me explain it to you.

Asiana A350 Business Class Seats

There are 3 different type of seats on Asiana Airlines A350. First is a one seater for single people which I took. It is a one seat which you can get enough privacy.

There are two different types for middle seats. One of for couples where there is no side stands inbetween two seats. It is best for couples who wants to feel a little skin to skin contact.

Another type is the ones that have stands in between the seats. You can see it more in detail on their websites

Personally, I would prefer to sit on the one seater, but it all depends on what you want right?

Asiana A350 Business Class Space

I can tell you the brand new A350 Business class seats are really built for the comfort of the passengers. I really enjoyed every detail that they put in and I will explain it one by one. But because of my short legs, I felt like loosing a bit lol.

Usage of Little Storage Spaces

One thing that I hate about flying is that I constantly remember what I needed one at a time. I remembered I needed my earphones, then my computer, then my passport for costums form, then my dongles etc. But instead of standing up constantly, you can put your stuff all in the little storage space like how I did it .

Your Little Night Stand

If all that stuff doesn’t fit like your computer, you can always put it on the night stand. I loved how it was big enough to put my phone and my computer.

They also give you a little pouch with tooth brush, tooth paste, eye mask, lotion, ear plugs etc, but I forgot to even open it as I was just sleeping through the whole journey.

Many Buttons so You Can Lie Down as You Want

You can adjust your seat as how you want. If you just want your legs to be up, you can just pull the leg seat up. If you want your back seat lower, you can just pull back the back seat. if you just want your shoulder part to be raised, you can also do that. If you have lower back pain, you can also just raise that part. Yes! You can adjust literally as you want.

A Little Thoughtful Touch for People who Want to Watch TV

The bad(?) thing about business class is that the TV is so far away. You always have to bend to touch the screen.

But the good thing is that there is a remote control so that you can watch TV with ease and comfort.

People who Are Claustrophobic Will Love that the Table Moves Back and Forth

One thing I felt like heaven on Asiana Airline A350 Business class seat is that the table moves back and forth. The reason is that normal business or economy class tables don’t move, so you will have to wait forever for flight attendants to clean up the table until you can move.

But here you can just move it backward and move around even if the flight attendant didn’t come. It was this little thing that made me so happy lol.

You can push it back, after finish eating

Not the Best Food

I don’t know but I didn’t realllly love the food. I always feel like the airlines try so hard to make your business class experience the best, but there are always limits.

Personally I would rather have hamburger than chewy steak. I had cod, and it was good but not like wow 🙂 Next time, I will be ordering ramen lol

Asiana Airline A350 WIFI

This is probably the best thing in the world. I never ever thought you would be able to have wifi on plane on international flight. But here we are with WIFI!

It is not cheap though. It is 12 dollars for an hour and 22 dollars for 24 hours. If you are on business, I think this can save you some time and lives lol.
