This year in Brooklyn, a range of boutique hotels, eco-luxury and luxury hotels are opening left and right with full of fashionable and trendy travelers visiting. There are William Vale hotel, Williamsburg hotel and One hotel Brooklyn Bridge just opened. And there is also Ace hotel rumored to be opened in downtown Brooklyn. One Hotel
One Hotel is the number one on our list among all the hotels in Brooklyn. If you live in Downtown Brooklyn, Dumbo area, you will understand how exciting it is to finally have a luxury boutique hotel in your neighborhood. If you are a traveller or even a local who live with no view of Manhattan, you definitely have to book One hotel at least for a night because the view from the room is truly breathe taking. Not many hotels can actually offer a view like this. Actually, no hotels can offer a view like this. The closest to this amazing view would be William Vale hotel, but the view of Manhattan from William Vale hotel still feels far away.
The View from the Room Alone Makes One Hotel Brooklyn Bridge Number One Boutique Hotel in Brooklyn
One Hotel is the Best Boutique Hotel in Brooklyn with a Legit Spacious Room and Excellent Details that Other Hotels Lack
Another plus of staying at the One Hotel Brooklyn Bridge is that they truly have spacious rooms. A lot of hotels in New York advertise standard rooms spacious but the pictures can be deceiving. And I have been to hotels where it seemed big, but in reality I couldn’t put my luggage down. However, One hotel actually has a big enough space where you can even actually invite friends to show off the room.
The only issue I have with the One hotel is the transportation. It is not the best. But, the view and the spacious room size cannot beat the uncomfortable transportation. We also have a video tour of the One hotel Brooklyn Bridge below (Check it out!).

William Vale Hotel
William Vale hotel is our number two on our best Brooklyn hotels. William Vale hotel is a brand new hotel in Williamsburg with an amazing view. Especially during summer, if you go to the rooftop bar, Westlight, you will feel like you are in New York that you see in the movies. Westlight has a view of the whole city and floor to ceiling windows totally opens up where it feels like an indoor-outdoor bar. Not only the bar but also the rooms have a perfect view with no interruption. Every room has a balcony with a view of the city or Brooklyn.
William Vale Hotel Is the Best Boutique Hotel in Brooklyn for Millennial Who Loves to Snap and Instagram
It has excellent service, good price for the value, instagrammable interior and a pool. But the reason it is on our second was because the rooms are smaller than One hotel (with similar price range). But the transportation is a little bit better with the L train near by. You can also check out our video tour of the William Vale hotel below.
Even though we think William Vale hotel is our number two, there is an alternative in the neighborhood which is called Mccaren Hotel. It has a pool but lacks a view.

Aloft Hotel
Aloft Hotel is on our third list. On our rating Williamsburg hotel and Aloft hotel were tied, but I am giving the aloft the upper hand. Aloft hotel is in Downtown Brooklyn with almost every subway station line you can get. It is often important to stay around the subway station as you would be going to lots of places. Also, it is right next to City Point which is the largest food, shopping and entertainment destination in Brooklyn (where I go pretty often as well).
Aflot Hotel is the Best Boutique Hotel in Terms of Transportation
Don’t get me wrong! Williamsburg hotel is one of the coolest hotel in Brooklyn, but Williamsburg hotel cannot beat the convenience of all subway stations. Also, Aloft hotel is half the price of what Williamsburg hotel offers. Especially, if you are a SPG member, you will get a good discount (If you are not, sign up cause it’s free!) If I were debating between Williamsburg hotel and Aloft hotel, I would choose Aloft because of the convenience of transportation and the price.
Alternative Choice: Even hotel or Holiday Inn are another choice in Downtown Brooklyn. It is a brand new hotel and pretty cool for a chain hotel.

Williamsburg Hotel
Williamsburg hotel is on my forth list. If William Vale hotel did not exist, I would put Williamsburg hotel on the second list. But because in the area, there are so many hip hotels, I had to put it on forth. The biggest reason it cannot beat William Vale hotel is the price is similar to William Vale hotel but it lacks a pool. Also, the view from the terrace is good but not as good as William Vale hotel.
Even though Williamsburg hotel is on the forth list, it is one of the hippest hotel in Brooklyn. The exterior is built with reclaimed bricks and the lobby is just screams Brooklyn. The rooms have floor to ceiling windows, terrace with a view and a spacious bathroom. One of the plus of staying at Williamsburg hotel is that you can choose between a tub or shower. You rarely see a bath tub in New York hotels nowadays (especially standard rooms), and it is a good option to have 🙂 You can also check out our video tour of the Williamsburg hotel right below.
Alternative Choice: You can go to the most famous hotel in Williamsburg, Wythe hotel, if you don’t feel like Williamsburg hotel.

Nu Hotel
Nu hotel is one of the stylish and nicest hotel in Downtown Brooklyn. It was probably the only Boutique hotel in Downtown Brooklyn for a long time. It is close to Cobble hill, Boerum Hill and Forte Greene where all the hipster live and eat (including me). It is laid back and less pretentious compared to the other hotels on my list.
