For some reason, if you google best black pork restaurants in Jeju on Google, Dombedon comes up as Michelin Starred restaurant. IT IS NOT.
Dombedon Jeju Is NOT a Michelin Starred restaurant and neither got plated or bib gourmand. So if you go expecting to have a spectacular experience you are on the wrong side.
Black Pork Street Jeju
Dombedon Jeju is inside Black Pork Street Jeju.
I know it is an easy place for travellers to go but also easy customers for the restaurants.
The restaurant know that the customers will not come back again, so the service or the quality of the food is not spectacular.
For a one time traveler, they might not know what black pork really taste like. So they will satisfy or settle for what they get at black pork street Jeju restaurants.
But please don’t. I will give you all the best black pork restaurants in Jeju.
Dombedom Jeju
Dombedom is not an evil restaurant. But for some reason, people got confused that the restaurant got a Michelin star.
After the visit, most of the reviews and comments are negative that it wasn’t what they expected.
If you read the fine line, Dombedom was mentioned in Michelin guide book, but wasn’t recommended.
Ususally if Michelin recommends it’s from one, two, three stars or at least “plate” or “bib gourmand.”
Dombedom Jeju doesn’t have any of the ratings. So it is not really a Michelin restaurant.
