You can easily buy your Sim card Miami at the airport, but it is always more expensive because you will be paying for the convenience fee.
If you don’t mind paying a little bit more ($40 for a tourist plan, 21 days, 2GB data), Soundbalance store sells it. It is near gate 23.
It is T-Mobile Tourist plan Miami airport plan, so if you go into South Beach or Wynwood, you can buy it cheaper.
Here are the t-mobile shops in Miami. There is one in Wynwood, on Lincoln Road and Brickell.
T Mobile Tourist Plan
There are three types of T-Mobile tourist plan (pre-paid).
- $40 : 10GB data
- $50 : Unlimited date (only 3G speed)
- $60 : Unlimted data (4G only up to 10 GB and 3G, but still unlimited)
One thing I did with my friend was that I would buy the $60 unlimited pre paid Sim card and turn on hot spot.
In that way, we were able to get 4G data with cheaper price.
There are few shops that sell Sim Card Miami. But they charge you more with bad data plans, so don’t buy it at those shops.
They might even scam you which happened to me (It only worked for a week when they said would work for a month).
