DAY 1
3:00 PM: Checking In with the Hard Days and Nights Hotel
Like the name of hotel, Hard Days and Nights hotel is totally dedicated the Beatles. It is the only Beatles hotel in the world that is combined with the highest quality and experience. Every room will have something related to the Beatles.
The hotel is right next to the famous Cavern club where the Beatles rose to fame. You can always check in and look around for live musics or relax in the room for a bit.
Alternative: You can also go to the Aloft hotel (If you are collecting SPG/Marriot points, this would be a good hotel to stay. Read here why) which is also next to Cavern club or Titanic hotel which is slightly outside of the city centre (You can read here on my top hotels in Liverpool).
4:00 PM: The Beatles Story Tour
Now head to the Royal Albert Dock. Albert Dock was built in 1846 with beautiful dock buildings and warehouses. Now it’s turned into restaurants, shopping centers, Tate museum and the BEATLES STORY.
The Beatles Story is a great way to learn about Beatles. Beatles story is an unique museum where you can actually follow the Beatles life from childhood to fame. They also provide a great audio guide for you.
After visiting the Beatles story, you can go to Fab 4 store where you can buy Beatles related souvenirs.
6:00 PM: Hope St
Hope Street is one of the nicest street in Liverpool. It is awarded with “the best street in United Kingdom,” and once you get there you will know why. There are many nice restaurants around Hope street from 60 Hope St restaurant to Le Quater but the most famous one is probably Art School.
You need to book Art School in advance as it gets really busy and usually fully booked. It is a course menu and takes about 2.5 hours to finish. I could be going on how good it is, but the pictures say 1000 words.
9:00 PM: Cavern Pub/Club
This can be either on Day 1 or Day 2 of the night. I know you are tired from all the activities so you can take a break on Day 1. But you have to go to the Cavern Club or Pub at least once.
Cavern club is where Beatles used to play before they rose to fame. Since then it became a staple for famous singers from Elton John to Adele played. Recently Paul Mccartney came back to the Cavern club and played.
If you want a chill night, you can go to some of the bars that I like in Liverpool. You can read it here about the restaurants and bars that I recommend. The closest one to the hotel is McGuffie & Co.

Day 2
9:00 AM: Breakfast at Moose Cafe
For breakfast, Go to Moose Cafe next to the Hard Days Night hotel. It is an American fusion brunch place and I absolutely give them thumbs up. I have had my fair share of brunches in New York, and Moose Cafe is as gooood. Enjoy your pancakes with a nice iced americano (Finally a place where they know iced coffee).
10:30 AM: Magical Mystery Bus Tour
Following breakfast head to Albert Dock for the Magical Mystery Bus for 11:00 AM tour. I know we do not like bus tours but this is different. They actually play the Beatles song where you can sing along as you go to places after places.
It is very unique because a lot of the songs’ titles were named after specific streets and places. So you can actually listen to the music of the title as you pass by or get off the bus to take pictures.
Also, it wouldn’t be easy to it alone as a lot of places are not close to each other or hard to find. So use this tour for your own sake.
1:30 PM: Lunch at Free State Kitchen
Free State Kitchen is a hamburger restaurant where they have a lovely garden. If the weather permits you should have your lunch in the garden.
3:00 PM: Free Time
If you are back in Hope street, you can visit the cathedrals. There are two cathedrals in this area, and it is absolutely massive.
Or, head back to Matthew St for Magical History Museum or simply skip it and go to the Beatles shop. Magical History Museum is a new addition to Liverpool and has very personal collection from the Beatles. But for some reason, it seemed quite pricy for what I get.
If you want something free, you can also go to Beatles shop next to it. It is free and you can see a lot of antiques related to the Beatles.
5:00 PM: Film Tour
Because of the beautiful architecture, a lot of movies have been filmed in Liverpool from Marvel’s Captain America to Harry Potter. But recently Peaky Blinders have been all over Liverpool filming.
Anyways you can go to the actual film locations where it’s been filmed and there is a really good tour I recommend. You can click here to check it out.
8:00 PM: Dinner at Castle Townhouse
I love this restaurant because not only they have excellent food, but you can sit outside in the square overlooking beautiful architects.

Day 3
10:00 AM: St. George’s Hall
Before heading back to London, stop by at the St. George’s Hall. It is a beautiful hall with amazing mosaic. Unfortunately when I went the floor was covered for renovation. But there were more than just the mosaic.
You can go to the garden and relax or go below the St. George’s hall where it used to be a prison (Not too impressive, but a good way to kill time).
