Baccarat hotel in New York is a a famous hotel for Being Super Private where Celebrities A.K.A Kim Kardashian Likes to Stay
Anyways, we were wondering what it is like to stay at the most private luxury hotel in New York. So we booked it for a night and let me tell you what it was like in a bullet point for y’all lazy people.
- Absolutely private with no sign of Baccarat hotel
- They know who you are as you tell the name (even before they put my name in the system)
- The early check in as early as 12:00PM and late check out as late as 4:00PM! (Never been to a hotel this generous)
- It is super French with full of French people. And Chinese 🙂
- Same BLOCK AS HALA GUYS (I know right?)
- Baccarat crystals are displayed for actual usage
- The pool makes you feel luxury and special
- It is a step up from the other luxury hotels like 11 Howard or Crosby hotel (I wonder why it isn’t 6 star)
- But four times more expensive than the other five star hotels
- A true OASIS in middle of the jungle

Yes, we were lucky enough to stay at several luxury and fancy hotels in New York City from 11 Howard to One Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. But Baccarat hotel was probably one of the most expensive hotel and the most luxurious hotel in New York City. There is definitely a reason you pay $1,000 for a standard room.
Baccarat hotel is Very Discreet with No Signs
As you arrive, you will not be sure where the hotel is. The front doesn’t flash “I-Am-A-Hotel.” It feels more like a residence with a doorman. But as you enter, you will be welcomed with glitz and glamour. On the right side is the Movie “Chicago” style bulbs.
Baccarat Hotel Is Very Personable & Welcoming Unlike Other Famous and Fancy Hotels
You have to go to the second floor for the check in. When you arrive at the check in and give your name, they pretty much know who you are. They tell us that the room was ready and we can go right in. And because we are so special, they upgraded us to the suite. I am joking, but because of the package we booked they upgraded us to the suite!
THEY LET YOU CHECK OUT EARLY – I MEAN EARLY EAS 12PM AND CHECK OUT AS LATE AS 4PM
One thing that really surprised me was the time for early check in and late check out. Most of the hotels do have early & late check out. But usually it’s only an hour early or an hour late. Never 3 hours early or 4 hours late. At Baccarat hotel, that is what happened. They let us check in at 12:00PM and check out at 4:00PM.
The Room Is Covered with Baccarat Crystals, So You Can Actually Experience What It’s Like to Have One
The room is splashed with Baccarat crystals. It is kind of scary cause we all know how much would be to replace it. But they had Baccarat crystal champagne glasses to a cup for mouth wash in the bathroom.
The suite was actually bigger than our one bedroom apartment in Miami. It had a beautiful classic sofa and a big table for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you are planning to eat breakfast, you could try the in room service. The wall has a huge mirror that turns into a T.V. It is quite confusing, but beautiful at the same time.
The Suite is Spacious and Screams Luxury
The bathroom is covered with marble and gives you a luxury feeling. The mirror is heated so there would be no fog. A rain fall shower and a bath is perfect for a newly wed or a couple.
At last, the bed is a King sized bed with very extremely comfortable mattress. It was so nice we slept till 10;00AM the next morning.
The Residential Lounge (Only for guests) Provides Champagne for Free, So Don’t Forget to Stop By
Now let’s talk about the amenities. So for the guests, you can use the residential lounge (It is on the second floor next to the dining area). They provide from champagne to some snacks for free. So you can go down there to enjoy some freebies. We didn’t know till we checked out, but if you guys get to go to Baccarat hotel, please try it and let us know!
The Pool Is Soooooo Relaxing with Comfortable Day Beds and a Hot Jacuzzi (On Top of That, a HOT Life Guard)
Then you go down to the basement, and you will find the gym (that is quite big for a hotel) and a beautifully done swimming pool. The pool is the highlight of the hotel I believe. Even though it is not on a rooftop, with the comfortable day beds, it didn’t really matter. It was so nice to be in a pool then the jacuzzi. I think we spent like 4 hours in the pool area.
We are sad that we didn’t have enough time to use the spa, but it look phenomenal with La Mer products. We would definitely try to use it next time (quite expensive though).
Even Though It is the Fanciest Hotel in New York, You don’t Feel the Pressure of Uncomforableness Like Other Luxury Hotels
It was my fanciest hotel experience and is probably one of the most expensive and the best luxury hotel I have ever stayed. But the best part about this whole experience was that you did not feel any pressure of uncomfortableness like the other luxury hotels (For example, The Ned Soho House in London makes you feel super pressured)
