Let me show you today how to book a reliable and cheap car rentals in Jeju island.
When you look up Jeju car rentals, there are hundreds of companies and sites you can look up.
I am not kidding. Below picture is all the rental companies you can use.
Jeju island is unique where most of the places you go, you need a car.
So naturally, Jeju rental car business is huge.
With many businesses, competition is fierce. So you will probably find most of the companies have similar price (meaning lowest price).
Luckily, rental car compare sites only work with reliable Jeju rental car companies. So it is best to go through compare sites.
So let me give you the best 5 Jeju Rental Care sites and the postives and negatives.
Lotte Car Rental Jeju Island
Lotte Car Rental Jeju is not a rental car compare site, but I am putting this on first.
This is the only stand alone company that I recommend to book directly.
The website has a very clear English website and easy to understand.
It is the biggest rental company in Korea. The next is SK rental (merged with AJ car rental Jeju).
The only problem is that it is more expensive than most of the other companies (But definitely the most reliable).
So if your budget is a bit more relaxed I highly recommend making a reservation through Lotte Car Rental.

RentalCars
My second choice is Rentalcars.
Rentalcars works with all the big Jeju rental car companies, so you can easily compare the price.
rentalcars also has companies that offer Zero Excess on CDW and extra coverage that CDW doesn’t cover. This is very useful if you are not familiar with Jeju island or still new to driving.
It also has 48 hour free cancellation.
Trip
Trip is another site that I used (not for rental but flights and hotels).
It is the biggest travel agency in all Asia, so they usually have good promotions and discounts.
Similar to Rentalcars they closely work with Jeju Rent Car, One Rent a Car and Tamra Rent.
Tamra Rent actually has their own English website, so if you end up booking Tamra Rent with Trip, you might as well compare the price with trip.
Jeju One car also has their own site as well, but not the best one.
Klook.com
Klook is one of my favorite booking site for almost everything when I travel because of their simplicity and clean UX.
They also offer car rentals in Jeju Island, and works with Avis, Jeju OK, SK (merged with AJ), Hertz (Works with Lotte).
If you are a Klook user, I recommend using Klook to book your car.
It gives you many points and customer service is the best.
Trazy
While I was doing my research, I stumbled upon Trazy.
I actually never heard of the company, but sounded pretty decent.
I think it’s worth a look.
But which website offers the cheapest rental car? I did some research and let me tell you
Which is the Cheapest Car Rentals in Jeju Island?
I compared each websites with same dates and same type of cars, and the cheapest car rental was Trip.
It was a lot cheaper than other websites.
They were offering Tamra rental car Jeju. But for some reason when I went to Tamra, it said there were no availability.
What Company Did I Choose?
Anyways, it is up to you to choose which company to work with.
I made a reservation with Lotte Car Rental through Rentalcars and it was very smooth and easy.
Either way, when you get to Jeju Airport you will have to take a shuttle to your Jeju car rental company.
I think it is best to be prepared a little bit before you arrive at Jeju airport, because it can be confusing.
